Privacy Policy

1. What information we collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, business details, mobile number) and information generated through use of the Service (SMS conversation history, appointment data, usage statistics).

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, send transactional emails (password resets, account updates), and generate the AI responses sent to your customers. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Customer data

SMS conversations with your customers are stored to enable the AI agent to maintain context across a conversation. Conversation data is associated with your business account. You are the data controller for your customers' information and are responsible for using the Service in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Fielded:

  • Twilio — SMS delivery and phone number management
  • OpenAI — AI response generation
  • Google Calendar API — appointment scheduling (when connected)
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Stripe — payment processing

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. SMS conversation history is retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Google user data

Our application may access Google user data, including Google Calendar information, solely to provide the functionality requested by the user, such as scheduling, availability checking, and calendar event management.

We do not sell Google user data to third parties.

We do not share Google user data with third parties except:

  • as necessary to provide the application's core functionality,
  • with infrastructure and service providers acting on our behalf (such as hosting, database, and authentication providers),
  • when required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Google user data is only retained for as long as necessary to provide the requested services and maintain application functionality.

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs by this application adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Workspace data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at fieldedsms@gmail.com.

9. Cookies

Fielded uses session cookies to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in the dashboard.
